The Jakob Chychrun speculation has been running rampant for the better part of 2 years and it appears the speculation may be drawing to a close, finally.
According to the Arizona Coyotes Twitter account, Chychrun is healthy scratch against the St Louis Blues for the purposes of a trade, it would seem a deal is rather close .
Chychrun, 24 , has had a few injury problems this year, but has been Prather consistent since getting into the lineup on an every day basis. In 36 games with the Coyotes this season, he has 7 goals and 21 assists for a total of 28 points.
Any team would be lucky to have him, a young defender with term on his deal, but where do you think he ends up?
The Coyotes wouldn't hold Chychrun out of the lineup as a precautionary measure, I'd bet that a deal is being finalized.
