Cale Makar takes scary fall during Fastest Skater competition
Tonight the NHL is holding its annual skills completion during All Star Weekend. During the first event of the event of the night, Cale Makar was the first skater to tackle the course. Unfortunately as Makar took his second corner he lost his footing.
After losing his footing Makar falls awkwardly into the boards arm first. As he falls he spins and eventually ends up shoulder first into the barricade.
On the bench Makar's teammates Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen can be seen with a concerned look on their faces, until Makar finally pops to his feet and finishes his lap. After Makar's fall you can see some apprehension of the other skaters as they took the corners for their turns.
