Milan Lucic the NHL's Heavyweight Champion always refuses to drop the gloves with him
Milan Lucic is without question one of the NHL's toughest players. Over the years Lucic has dropped the gloves with anyone and everyone who has ever offered him the opportunity. Lucic has developed a reputation for being fearless, but the same apparently can't be said about Ryan Reaves.
Over the years Reaves has been deemed by many to be the NHL's Heavyweight Champion, but according to Lucic and his recent comments, it seems like Reaves has been reluctant in his career to accept his challenge. When Reaves played for the Rangers, he and Lucic didn't have many opportunities to drop the gloves, but now that Reaves is a member of the Wild in the Western Conference, those opportunities will be more frequent.
Lucic recently joined the crew of Dropping the Gloves where he was asked if he had any plans of dropping the gloves with Reaves. Lucic's answer left no doubts in anyone's mind about how he felt about the scrap.
I'm not the one that usually says no...so...we'll see.
After these words it's pretty clear the two parties are set for a collison course. Circle March 4th and 7th on your calendars folks because we are about to get a fight a long time coming.
