Chicago Blackhawks have made a decision on what they'll do with Nick Foligno after acquiring him via trade with the Boston Bruins
Yesterday afternoon the Chicago Blackhawks acquired Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno from the Boston Bruins. The moved allowed the Bruins to clear up $6,000,000 in cap space and allowed the Blackhawks to acquire a player to play alongside Connor Bedard, who they will proudly select tomorrow.
While many expected the Hawks to allow Foligno to walk during free agency, today the Hawks made the announcement they have signed Foligno to a contract for next season.
#Blackhawks announce a new contract for Nick Foligno: 1 year x $4 million.
While the signing isn't a complete surprise, the amount Foligno is making should surely surprise some.
