Fantilli, 19, was cut by a skate two days ago in a game against the Seattle Kraken. He was then seen limping off the ice, leaving fan's questioning if he was okay.

Adam is adjusting to the NHL really well, being selected only this year. Fantilli has 12 goals and 15 assists, tallying up to 27 points in 49 games. This is yet another blow to a disastrous week for Columbus. Hopefully, he gets better soon.

At the time of the injury Fantilli was wearing Kevlar sock which prevented the injury from being much worse.

The #CBJ    announce that Adam Fantilli will be sidelined for eight weeks due to a calf laceration after being cut by a skate blade. The injury could have been much more serious if he wasn't wearing a Kevlar sock.
