Every year, The Athletic polls players from around the National Hockey League on numerous different topics and some of their answers are surprising to say the least.

One of the questions that posed always draws the attention of fans and that is 'Who is the most overrated player in the league? and this year was no different.

'Other' led the way with 26.73% of the vote and that was made up of at least 25+ players receiving a single vote.

Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras came in second place in the poll at 12.87%, followed by Edmonton Oilers defenceman Darnell Nurse at 7.92%, while Florida's Matthew Tkachuk and Dallas' Jason Robertson are tied for fourth at 6.93%.

It's a bit of a surprise to see Matthew Tkachuk and Jason Robertson up so high on this list following the vote by the players. They're both having a bit of a down year compared to their production from 2022-23, but are both still over a point-per-game, so it's still a little surprising to see that players around the league believe they're overrated.

Who do you think is the most overrated player in the National Hockey League? Let us know in the poll below!
