It is well known that Connor Bedard is going to be an NHL star. He is already the consensus first overall pick in next year's draft. As the season progresses, some bad teams might even be in tank mode just for the chance to draft him.

NHL insider Jeff Marek says that Bedard is drawing the attention of Western Hockey League fans. He also commented, that officials have said they've never seen anything like it in the history of the Western Hockey League.'

It's not just his point production but it's the way he scores that is impressive. Watch some of his highlight reel goals and you'll see why there is such a buzz around him. With the Regina Pats this year Bedard has seventeen goals and twenty four assists in just nineteen games.

That's an average of over two points per game. Some lucky NHL franchise is going to have a superstar centre that could change the direction of their franchise for years to come. The closer the draft gets the more hype you'll like hear about this future star.

He may be small in size, but his skating ability as well as his playmaking ability makes him a junior star. The Vancouver center is only seventeen years old so he still has time to develop and grow and he'll be ready to join the NHL in a short time.
