PK Subban Puts Kyle Dubas on Blast for Wasting the Final Years of Sidney Crosby's Career

Former NHL defenseman PK Subban made his feelings known about Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins today as he put Kyle Dubas on blast.

Ask any Penguins fan how they feel about the last two seasons and they will probably tell you that it has sucked.

For a team and fanbase that is so used to success, not just in the regular season, but in the playoffs too, the last couple of years have been hard to watch.

The team has not made the playoffs since 2022 when they lost to the New York Rangers in the first round, and are on pace for their worst season since before Sidney Crosby arrived.

Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas has tried making moves to boost the team, but most of them have failed such as his attempted rehabilitation project with a former 4th overall pick.

With this year's trade deadline just weeks away, it is clear that the Penguins will be sellers at the trade deadline as they punt on the season once more.

This has started to wear on the players and fans alike, with one NHL analyst pointing the finger at Dubas.

Former NHL defenseman PK Subban believes that Dubas is at fault for squandering the last years of Sidney Crosby's career as he put him on blast with his latest comments.

It is somewhat revealing that Team Canada winning the Four Nations faceoff will likely be the last major accomplishment of Crosby's career.

If it isn't it will be because Crosby and Canada won again at the 2026 Winter Olympics, but either way his days of NHL success appear to be done.

The sad thing is it is not Crosby's fault. He is doing everything he can to keep his team in the fight, even leading them in scoring at the age of 37.

But he did not build the team around him, and it is clear that those guys cannot get the job done anymore.
