Coyotes nearing Jakob Chychrun trade?
There is some late breaking news this afternoon in the NHL that appears to link the Arizona Coyotes to another trade. Yesterday the Coyotes moved Ilya Lyubushkin and Ryan Dzingel to the Toronto Maple Leafs in a deal for Nick Ritchie and a conditional draft pick.
It now sounds like the Coyotes could be nearing another deal, this time in a deal for their most valuable trade chip. According to David Pagnotta, there seems to be a renewed sense that the Coyotes might be closing in on a deal to send Jakob Chychrun to the LA Kings for picks and prospects.
Chychrun has also been linked to the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes, but it sounds like the Coyotes value players such as Gabe Vilardi very highly in a potential deal.
The Coyotes kept Lyubushkin out of the lineup last night with a trade pending, so it will be interesting to see if they do the same with Chychrun tonight against the Stars.
