Craig Anderson has had an up and down career in the NHL. Now at 40-years-old and nearing the end of his career, Anderson has found himself playing with the Buffalo Sabres.
The Buffalo Sabres played the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night and things got heated. In the third period Mason Appleton of the Jets drove the net hard and ended up running into the Sabres' goalie. Anderson's head bounced off the crossbar and it didn't look good.
Amazingly Craig Anderson remained in the game. Somehow there was not a single penalty on the play and Mason Appleton didn't get punished. Neither the referees or any of the Sabres' players took care of Appleton. Also no concussion spotter pulled Anderson despite the head contact.
