This must have caused some very tense moments for everyone involved. Police are investigating after a bus carrying hockey players was shot at several times while they were travelling to their next game.
Police say the bus carrying members of the SKA-Karelia hockey team to their next game narrowly escaped tragedy after several shots were fired towards the driver's seat of the vehicle from a car believed to have been an Audi 6 with Latvian license plates.
"The information that it was a passenger vehicle with Latvian license plates is true. The bus video recorder recorded this. The guys are fine. They have already reached home. Everyone is alive and well, no one was hurt, except for a slight scare. Law enforcement agencies were immediately called in response to the incident - the traffic police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Most likely, there will be an investigation." - SKA-Kareliya Press Service
