Edmonton Oilers forward's jersey shows up in clearance section sparking more trade rumors
The Edmonton Oilers are 7-1-2 in their last 10 games, this strong stretch of play has sparked rumors that the Oilers are back in the market to make significant Trade Deadline additions. To make those additions the Oilers are going to be forced to move out significant money to make cap space.
When it comes to rumored names leaving the Oilers, Jesse Puljujarvi is always at the top of the list. Now an Edmonton Oilers fan has spotted something at a local Oilers store, where Puljujarvi's jersey is now marked down ahead of the Trade Deadline.
It is expected that Puljujarvi will find himself a new home by the trade deadline, with teams like the Boston Bruins and San Jose Sharks both having interest. Puljujarvi is in the final year of his current contract so any team acquiring him will have to work out a new deal for next season.
One thing is for sure, it's only a matter of time before Puljujarvi finds himself a new home. He has been the target of the media's criticisms all season, while not being his coach's most popular player.
With the deadline approximately a month away, JP is likely to hear his name in the rumors sections almost daily.
