Emergency backup goalie alert - Ducks turn to EBUG after injuries
The Anaheim Ducks have been forced to turn to an Emergency Backup Goalie during tonight's game against the Dallas Stars. The Ducks have suffered injuries to both Anthony Stolarz and John Gibson during tonight's game.
The Ducks announced that EBUG Tom Hodges would be in net for the 3rd period. Tom Hodges is a native of England and last played hockey at Southern Methodist University near Dallas, Texas.
When Hodges entered the game the score was tied 2-2 after 2 periods.
Hodges has currently made 2 saves on 3 shots.
