It's been a very rough season for the the Montreal Canadiens, it's fans and most of all Carey Price. Last season Price led the Habs to the Stanley Cup Final, where they would unfortunately lose to Tampa Bay Lightning in 5 games. But this year he's battled injury, sobriety and COVID on his way back to the Habs net. Price has also had setbacks with his knee rehabilitation as well.
This week Price visited his surgeon in New York, something that led most people to assume that Price could possibly be done for the year.
However, the news didn't seem to be as bad as it appeared, because Carey Price informed the Canadiens head coach, Martin St. Louis that he wanted to play in the Canadiens final game tonight versus the Florida Panthers.
Price is hoping to end the season with a huge win for him and the team as they head into a full rebuild this off season. It's even possibly that this could be Carey Price's last game in Montreal.
