Evgeni Malkin have been a staple to the Pittsburgh Penguins and the city of Pittsburgh for well over a decade now, a cornerstone of the franchise and quite possibly one of the best forwards in franchise history and now there's even more reason to love him.
Malkin has partnered with McDonald's in what is one of the best promotions I've ever seen, Via David Alter of Sports Illustrated and Rink Wide: Toronto, take a look:
In Malkin's I'm Score for Kids campaign every point he scored this season means a $710 donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
If you needed more reason to cheer for Malkin and the Pens, this is it. What a good person he is.
This comes after he re-signed on Pittsburgh this off-season on a reasonable deal because he didn't want to play anywhere else.
For the kids sake, I hope Makin has a career year this season.
Malkin so far this season has 20 points in 21 games including 8 goals and 12 assists.
