It seems like the newly condensed schedule may be bringing some old school NHL vibes. That means some high scoring games, some animosity between the players, and some absolutely crazed fans. We've been treated to all of those this week, and here we'll take a look at some of the best fan incidents this week.

Here we've got a classic board battle. Sharks and Kings players are grinding it out on the boards, battle for body position to retrieve the puck, and in comes a flying and forceful elbow to Andrew Cogliano by a fan sitting in the first row.

You might think the elbow through the glass might throw off Cogliano enough to lose the puck, but instead the away team wins the puck battle, and the fan was penalized 2 minutes for elbowing.

In another incident here, after Kuznetsov completed his hat trick to tie the game late in the third period against the home team Vancouver, a Canucks fan can be seen raising a fist with a single protruding middle finger, with the implication being a resounding statement of «I didn't like that goal». Of course, the Canucks fan was giving the finger to a Capitals fan, seemingly in harmless fun as the Caps fans celebrate the goal.

Also notably this week were some pointed boos at star players: Alexander Ovechkin in Edmonton as a result of his association with Vladimir Putin, and against Jack Eichel for allegedly betraying the forever-desolate Buffalo Sabres. With some raucous games in Scotiabank Arena as well, this week has been great for fan interaction in games.
