Flyers Add Some Grit On The Opening Of Free Agency
The Philadelphia Flyers were able to add some grit on the opening of Free Agency signing forward Garnet Hathaway to a two-year deal with a $2.375 AAV.
The 31 year old split time between the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins last season. Hathaway had 13 goals and 22 points while spending 69 minutes in the penalty box.
The contract Hathaway signed with the Flyers is the most lucrative of his career. He is coming off a four-year deal with a cap hit of $1.5 AAV signed with the Washington Capitals the summer of 2019.
