Former 20 goal scorer placed on waivers
The following players were played on waivers today Max Willman, (Philadelphia Flyers) and Andreas Johnson (New Jersey Devils)
The 27 year old Willman was placed on waivers today for the purpose of assignment. In 9 games this season he was held without a point, while averaging 8:58 of ice time.
The 28 year old Johnsson played two games with the Devils this season. He was held without a point while averaging just 4:44 of ice time. Head coach Lindy Ruff clearly doesn't have much faith in the player from Sweden. Johnsson is in the final year of his contract with a $3,400,000 AAV. He was placed on waivers at the beginning of the season after failing to make the team and went unclaimed, likely due to his contract.
