Former NHLer Alex Radulov snaps as things get extremely heated
Former Nhler Alexander Radulov has returned back to the KHL after six seasons away playing the NHL. He currently plays for Ak-Bars Kazan. Radulov signed a two-year contract this past summer.
Radulov's team was playing in the Gagarin Cup qualifier against Neftekhimik on Friday. The 36 year old scored in what was a 4-1 victory. He also got busy with his fists after becoming enraged by Andrei Chivilyov. A scrum ensued after the whistle with both men falling to the ice with Radulov on top. They both regain their footing, when Radulov lands a nasty uppercut to send Chivilyov crumbling to the ice. I'm sure Chivilyov regretting messing with the wild Radulov.
Radulov is having a successful return to the KHL, scoring 25 goals and 57 points in 62 games. Selected 15th overall in 2004 by the Nashville Predators. In 524 NHL games, Radulov has scored 144 goals and 368 points.
