Gauvreau and Kuefler drop the Gloves for First Fight of Memorial Cup
We're a couple of days into the Memorial Cup now, and we finally have our first fight of the tournament. With his team down 3-0 early in the game, Cam Gauvreau of the Peterborough Petes challenged Daylan Kuefler of the Kamloops Blazers. The tilt featured some pretty good uppercuts and overhead hammer punches before the officials broke them up. The TSN camera operator also provided some fantastic angles after jumping off the bench and getting onto the ice.
The Memorial Cup features the top teams from the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which is comprised of teams from the Western, Ontario, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey Leagues.
