After yesterday's news broke of Sean Avery signing a ECHL PTO with the Orlando Solar Bears, today comes a follow-up related to another former NHL bad boy.
Georges Laraque played a total of 695 games in his career and amassed 1126 penalty minutes. He last suited up for the Canadiens during the 2009-2010 season.
The 45-year-old, Laraque, Tweeted the following from his own account just after 9AM ET this morning:

The two parties were set to finalize details by exchanging direct messages on the social media site, but all signs point to Laraque vs. Avery on March 12 in the Sunshine State.
The ECHL may break some viewing records on March 12th.
