Gustav Forsling has left the Florida Panthers temporarily for family reasons.
You never like to see this, but family and personal things come first. It appears as though Gustav Forsling, Florida Panthers defender will not be in the lineup tonight against Nashville and is on personal leave from the team due to family reasons according to Florida Hockey Now's George Richards. Take a look.
As we reported earlier in the day, #FlaPanthers will not have Gus Forsling tonight against the #Preds - he is on family leave. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Even when you're a professional hockey player, some things come before the game and your job, family is always one of those things.
Forsling didn't make the trip to face Nashville and will be on leave until Wednesday at which time he is expected to return to the team.
Details are sparse, but we hope that everything is okay with the Forsling family and wish them all the best.
