Well, it looks like we might have to wait a little bit longer for the Patrick Kane saga to be over, for now at least, it seems he's staying in Chicago while not playing.

According to TSN's Chris Johnston, it's unlikely Kane moves before the trade deadline on Friday, mentions it could even be close to the 3 pm cut off, take a look:

While all indications remain positive on a Patrick Kane to #NYR deal eventually coming to fruition, the trade itself likely won't be executed before Wednesday. It could even come closer to Friday's 3 p.m. deadline because the salary cap implications improve with each passing day.

It's been widely reported that Kane is likely going to be on the move to the Rangers, even going so far to report that the deal is done, but it seems like this is dragging out longer than anyone imagined

Kane, 34, has played in 54 games this season for Chicago and has collected 45 points including 16 goals and 29 points.

It's been widely reported that Kane to the Rangers is going to happen, even previously reported as a done deal, but the Rangers may not have the cap space at the moment.

One thing is for certain, the days leading up to the trade deadline has been anything but boring. Saving a deal of this magnitude for deadline day would make it exciting.
