Jacob Trouba levels Nazem Kadri and drops the gloves for a second time after a clean hit
In the first period of tonight's game Jacob Trouba was forced to drop the gloves with Chris Tanev after a clean hit on Dillon Dube. Apparently the Calgary Flames didn't learn anything from that early hit.
During the 2nd period Nazem Kadri made the mistake of coming in on Trouba with his head down. Trouba closed the gap on Kadri and delivered a thunderous body check, which separated Kadri from the puck and from himself.
Dillon Dube, who was the victim of an early hit by Trouba came to Kadri's defense. Unfortunately for Dube the referees weren't having it and issued him a minor for instigating, a major for fighting and a misconduct on the play. This is just another case of Trouba having to defend a clean hit.
