Last night Seattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz was mic'd up for the game against the at. Louis Blues. Off the opening draw, he said something that could be considered questionable if taken the wrong way.
According to Dimitri Filipovic of the Hockey Pdocast and Sportsnet, Schwartz may have taken a shot at his teams goaltending off an opening Faceoff, take a look.
be a passer tonight, eh? Be a passer, don't shoot
Schwartz can be heard saying to former teammate Vladimir Tarasenko. Now, really this must be two former teammates catching up before the drop of the puck, but considering the state of the Kraken's goaltending situation, there might be some truth to those comments.
Schwartz doesn't strike me as a player to say things like that with malicious intent, but still, given the situation, it's funny no matter how you choose to look at it.
