Jaromir Jagr, who owns the Knights recently discussed his desire to play for the Knights but the complications that he faces being fifty-one years of age. <<"I still enjoy hockey. It's frustrating when I'm used to certain performances that I'm not giving. The advantage is that as the owner I am always inside the club so I know what is going on. That's a big plus.>> and stated earlier Jagr who will be fifty-two in February, is keenly aware of how difficult it is to even just prepare for the daily grind. <
Jagr is by far one of the top three players to ever come out of Europe and arguably the one of the top five players to play in the National Hockey League. One could suggest that if he hadn't left North America to play in the KHL, he'd be the all-time leader in points instead of Wayne Gretzky;
Hockey has always been a grind and although Gordie Howe played in six different decades and was successful until the final buzzer and Jagr seems to be following suit, it's like the old Johnny Cash song The Gambler goes.
<< You got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You don't ever count your money
While you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin' is done>>.
