Joe Sakic takes shot at other teams using loopholes to be cap compliant
The NHL Trade Deadline is over and all the dust has settle, but for the second time today we have a GM who has taken shots at his counter parts. During his post deadline press conference Joe Sakic chose to to let his counter parts know just how he felt about some of their deadline tactics.
Our bottom six and depth is much more improved, and for a two month playoff run that's what you need.
We're also fully cap compliant, without needing LTIR.
It's clear Sakic is not a fan of some of the tactics other GM's use to give themselves a competitive advantage over the other teams.
What do you think? Should teams be able to exceed the salary cap in the playoffs?
