John Gibson reveals tribute to Ryan Getzlaf with his new mask
John Gibson have been teammates with the Anaheim Ducks since 2013-2014. The two have developed quite a friendship over their time together. So when Getzlaf announced his retirement, his good friend wanted to find a way to honour his friend and teammate.
So like many goalies, Gibson turned to his mask designer to come up with a way to honour his friend. Gibson worked with the designer and came up with an amazing tribute.
With only 4 games left in the season it's likely Gibson will get a couple opportunities to wear the mask with his friend in the lineup. Getzlaf has played 1,155 games where he's scored 1,017 points on his amazing career. Getzlaf also retires as a career Duck, who captured the Stanley Cup in 2007.
