Johnny Gadreau gets roasted for his embarrassing effort on the series clinching goal

The Calgary Flames had a very successful regular season, they finished 2nd in Western Conference and won the Pacific Division. Unfortunately for the Flames, despite their regular season success they couldn't overcome the Oilers and were ousted in 5 games by the Edmonton Oilers.
The Flames season was ended by a goal from the stick of Connor McDavid, but it was the lack of effort by Johnny Gaudreau. Gaudreau was well positioned in the slot along the side boards, but rather than closing his position Gaudreau abandons his position. Gaudreau's position change allowed Leon Draisitl to feed a wide open McDavid for the game winner.
Gaudreau is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
