Since coming in as the starter in Game 3 of the St. Louis Blues first round matchup against the Minnesota Wild, Jordan Binnington has looked like the goalie that led them to the Stanley Cup in 2019. In five playoff games Binnington has posted a 1.75 GAA and .948 SV%. The only loss he's had was a 51 save overtime game against the Colorado Avalanche.
Saturday night in game 3 against the Colorado Avalanche, Binnington had to leave the game after being running over by his own defender and Nazem Kadri. The trainer came out and Binnington tried to slide back and forth and couldn't.
Ville Husso has come in for relief. After posting career numbers in the regular season, Husso has struggled in the playoffs. This could be a huge loss for St. Louis.
