Leafs Prospect Heading Home To The KHL
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Semyon Der-Arguchintsev is heading home to play in the KHL.
The 22 year old signed a two-year deal with Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL. SDA had a solid season with the Marlies scoring 12 goals and 40 points in 50 games. His play earned him a one game stint with the Maple Leafs.
Toronto did qualify Semyon Der-Arguchintsev, so his rights have been retained. The Leafs will be SDA's landing spot if he does decide he wishes to return to North America after this two year stint, a move that could prove to be beneficial for him.
