We all know hockey is a crazy game and a lot of things happen, but every once and awhile you'll see something you've never seen before.
Case in point tonight's game between the Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs, during a scrum the linesmen were attempting to break things up. That's when things got weird, and we are very lucky that the result wasn't much worse. Somehow the linesman gets entangled in a stick and in an attempt to free himself he accidentally kicks Evgeny Svechnikov in the face.
Thankfully for all parties involved the blade missed or this would have been much worse.
