The Los Angeles Kings and Boston Bruins faced off last night in Boston. The two teams played a tight checking low scoring game, that saw the game head into overtime tied at 2. With less than 2 minutes left in overtime emotions began to run high between former rivals Phillip Danault and Brad Marchand.

Marchand and Danault used to see each other much more frequently when Danault was a member of the Montreal Canadiens. It's clear neither of those men forgot about those confrontations because it didn't take much to elevate both men's tempers. As Danault attempted to hold Marchand down, Marchand eventually got free dropping his gloves in the process.

Marchand looked to close the distance between the two and potentially force Danault into a fight. Luckily for Danault, who isn't known for his punching ability, the linesman arrived just in time.

Both men were assessed 2-minute minors on the play. Danault 2-minutes for holding, while Marchand received 2-minutes for roughing. The Kings would go on to win the game in a shootout.
