List of players the New Jersey Devils and Columbus Blue Jackets is leaked and it's extensive
The NHL Trade Deadline is always a crazy time of year and this year is no different. The Eastern Conference is especially unique because for the first time in years it appears that the top 8 playoff positions have been locked since approximately January. In the Eastern Conference the Washington Capitals hold the final Wild Card spot and are 13 points clear of the 9th place Columbus Blue Jackets. Compare that to the Western Conference where the 8th place team is only 5 points clear of 13th place Anaheim Ducks.
Because of this discrepancy it appears more and more Eastern Conference teams are in a "sell now" type model and no two teams are more likely to sell big than the Devils and the Blue Jackets.
Today on the Daily Faceoff Podcast it was revealed that the Devils and Blue Jackets are currently shopping the following players.
It's clear that these teams and working the phones and trying to get things done and kick start whatever comes next for their team's future
