Major Update to Patrick Kane Toronto Maple Leafs rumor
Earlier today it was reported by 'The Mug' that Kevin Weekes had said that Patrick Kane had informed Kyle Davidson that he wouldn't approve a trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The news came as a bit of a shock. It had been previously reported Kane had valued playing with Auston Matthews very highly.
Now the story begins to get even deeper as "The Hockey Writers" are reporting that no such list exists.
Earlier this week Kyle Davidson shared that there had been significant trade talks involving Kane at this time. Kane also mentioned he had not been approached by his General Manager about approving a potential trade at any juncture.
The Patrick Kane Saga is likely to bleed well into the season and likely won't be sorted out until the NHL Trade Deadline.
