Friday, the Buffalo Sabres visited the Calgary Flames and surprisingly the game went into overtime tied at zeroes. Both goalies were minutes away from matching shutouts when disaster struck for Calgary.
Jacob Markstrom, who is having a Vezina calibre season, came out of his crease to try and make a quick pass to his teammate. He whiffed on the pass and Tage Thompson of the Buffalo Sabres scored an easier winner.
That one is going to be hard to shake off.
