The World Junior Championships are a magical time of year, it doesn't matter when they take place. The best junior players from across the world get to show off their skills on the international stage. With every new tournament comes the possibility for jaw dropping awe inspiring moments.
This years magical moment is brought to you by team Canada's Kent Johnston. During the final minutes of the first period of the Canada-Czechia game, Johnston, pulls of the Michigan in a tight game to make it 2-1 Canada going into the second period.
Every year something happens that makes your jaw drop to the floor as a fan, it may be too early to call it, but I think that might be the goal of the 2022 tournament. Not only did Johnston pull it off at full speed behind the net in one motion, he did so to break the tie. If that proves anything, the Columbus Blue Jackets 5th overall pick in last years draft is calm, cool and collected under pressure in any situation.
