Minnesota Wild player gets ejected for hit and then accidentally punches linesman in the face
The Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars are currently taking part in a preseason game. With teams expected to trim their rosters in the next couple days, all fringe players are looming to make an impact in what could be their final opportunity.
During the 1st period of tonight's game, Brandon Baddock delivered a huge hit to Mitchell Chaffee. The hit, while clean physically, was called interference and Baddock was assessed a 5 minute major for the hit.
After the hit Baddock dropped the gloves with Jerad Rosburg.
Baddock clearly handled Rosburg in the fight, only to find out he had been ejected from the game for his hit. In 1 minute and 14 seconds of ice time, Baddock received 22 minutes of penalties and an early shower.
