With the preseason underway, hockey is officially back and with that comes a full slate of games a night. As we get deeper in the exhibition season, more players that will be on National Hockey League rosters are starting to get into game action.
Tonight, the New Jersey Devils took on the Montreal Canadiens and the 2022 1st overall pick Juraj Slafkovsk left the game early with an apparent injury; take a look.
While it's unclear exactly where Slafkovsky was injured, he did take a couple of hard hits the shift before heading down the tunnel.
Not sure which of these hits had Slafkovsky out of sorts, but he grabbed a garbage can on the way off and looked like he was about to vomit.
Whatever the injury is it doesn't look too good, I guess we'll find out shortly just how bad the injury is. The hope for the Canadiens and Slafkovsky is that this injury turns out to be nothing.
