Montreal Canadiens make an announcement about Martin St-Louis' future
Martin St-Louis came into Montreal and despite all of the challenges he faced he was able to develop solid relationships with the players. Not only was he able to build relationships with the team, but he was also able to salvage the seasons of both Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.
With the Canadiens likely entering a rebuild a brand new coach like St-Louis makes complete sense. That's why today the Montreal Canadiens made the decision to award Martin St-Louis a 3-year contract for his work.
St-Louis officially becomes the 32nd coach in franchise history.
