We knew whe Fanatics were signed to be the official jersey partner of the NHL, it would be bad, but I don't think anyone expected this. Details inside.
When Fanatics was announced as the new official on ice jersey manufacturer of the National Hockey League beginning next season, there was a collective groan among fans as the company is known in large part for the mistakes they make.
Some thought with Fanatics getting a major sports deal that would change, but it seems it's business as usual. Mistakes galore is part of the fabric of the Fanatics; take a look.
The standards of a Fanatics jersey have never been phenomenal, however one would expect they would attempt to up their game and make a product worthy of being warm on the ice.
It just proves once again, that the Commissionaire of the NHL Gary Bettman doesn't care about the product on or off the ice and he's not even trying to hide it anymore.
