The NHLPA has announced they will sit down with the members of the 2017-18 Canadian World Junior team at some point next week to discuss the scope of their investigation into the alleged assault of on June 8th 2018.
A few weeks ago the NHLPA announced they were going to look into this the case after the federal government cut funding.
I have a couple of qualms with this 1) neither the NHL or the NHLPA has a substantial track record dealing with things of this nature and 2) do we trust the NHLPA to do their due diligence and process?
All things considered, this is a good thing the NHL and the players association are doing a good thing by both prepping the players agents and looking into the assault as a whole, but with their track record, it might be questionable
