Nathan Walker and Gavin Bayreuther drop the gloves to celebrate a St. Louis Blues goal
Tempers flared during the Columbus Blue Jackets and St. Louis Blues game last night. As the puck moves towards the front of the net, Nathan Walker and Gavin Bayreuther engage in the corner. The two begin to shove back and forth.
As soon as Hugh McGing buries the puck top shelf, Walker drops his gloves. Walker lands some solid shots before Bayreuther gets his hands free and returns fire.
Both Walker and Bayreuther were issued five minute majors for the fight. Walker was also credited with an assist on the play. Preseason hockey often brings out the absolute best in players truly trying to make an impact on their teams.
