Nic Deslauriers manhandles William Karlsson, makes an immediate impact in his first game
Nicolas Deslauriers was acquired from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 3rd round pick on Sunday. Last night was Deslauriers first game as a member of the Minnesota Wild and he wasted little time getting involved. Less than 6 minutes into the game, Deslauriers notched his first as a member of the Wild and he was pumped.
But it was later in the game that Deslauriers put on display the main reason he was acquired. After the play William Karlsson ended up in the crease of Cam Talbot, and Deslauriers put on display exactly why he was acquired. Deslauriers quickly grabbed hold of Karlsson and manhandled him dragging him out of his goalies' crease.
The addition of Deslauriers could go a very long way to making the Wild a very dangerous team come playoffs.
