One team reportedly asking prospect question about picking items out of a toilet
The NHL Draft Combine is a place for all teams to ask questions of this year's crop of top prospects. The Montreal Canadiens hold as many as 7 picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft. So naturally the Canadiens are extremely active with interviewing prospects.
This year there were reports of a team asking a weird question to prospects and now Scott Wheeler has apparently uncovered who it was and what they asked.
The Habs have a bit off a rep here as the toughest interview. Just now Calle Odelius said they asked him if he would pick up $10 off the toilet seat or $50 from the toilet. He chose the $50. The combine is known as a place where teams will ask many questions to try and get the inner workings of a prospect's mind. The Ottawa Senators are reported to have asked prospects questions about sports gambling as well.
With the draft over a month away it will be interesting to see how much an interview plays in someone's overall ranking.
