The Ottawa Senators are near the bottom of the eastern conference, with really no hope of getting out of the basement this year, it looks like they're getting ready to sell at this years trade deadline, as they should.

According to Andy Strickland, Rinkside reporter for Bally sports mentions it's likely Ottawa moves on from starting goaltender Cam Talbot.

Goaltender Cam Talbot is likely on the move.Vegas, LA, Buffalo. Recently turned down an extension from Ottawa. #GoSensGo

Talbot recently turned down an extension from Ottawa and it appears he won't stay. Rather than letting him walk, it makes sense that the Senators would want to get something in return.

The Vegas Golden Knights, Los Angeles Kings and Buffalo Sabres seem to in on Talbot.

At 35 years old, Talbot's career seems to be winding down, but he's had a good season for the senators in 29 games played he has a record of 12-14-1 with 1 shutout a goals against average of 2.90 and a save percentage of .905 on a pretty bad team.

I can't imagine the acquisition price being super high and you're getting a goaltender who can still performer at a higher level of going to a team with a better defence.
