Ron MacLean already under fire after another cringeworthy comment on live air
When it comes to Ron MacLean either love him or hate him. But the segment of fans who is growing tired of hearing from him seems to be growing by the week. The NHL season isn't even a week old and fans are already annoyed by MacLean.
During the first Hockey Night in Canada of the year, MacLean was attempting to throw a segment over to his coworker Cabral "Cabbie" Richards. Instead of a simple handoff, MacLean opted to use:
The cringy display has become commonplace on HNIC since the departure of Don Cherry. The crew appears to be trying to take a younger vibe, but this especially wasn't what fans were looking for. It's clear by these messages fans still aren't happy with MacLean.
After losing one of his roles on Rogers Hometown Hockey it seems like only a matter of time before Ron MacLean finally leaves hockey coverage completely.
