It was a scary scene Saturday night during the Lehigh Valley games as Flyers prospect Jackson Cates was pushed from behind and went crashing into the boards, needing to be stretchered off the ice.
Head coach Ian Laperriere told Inside AHL Hockey in a post-game interview:
"It's very tough. We look at the replay, he got pushed from behind. Hopefully the league's going to do something about it. He could have been paralyzed. I think he's okay, he's at the hospital right now."
