Studio Analyst for NHL Networks Kevin Weekes announced today that the Buffalo Sabres will be retiring Ryan Miller's #30 jersey next season. He'll join Dominik Hasek as the only two goalies in their franchise history to have their sweater retired.

Miller is the Franchise Leader in Games Played, (540) Wins, (284) and Saves.(14,847)

The former 5th round pick in the 1999 NHL Draft played 12 seasons in Buffalo. He also suited up for the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, and Anaheim Ducks.

Miller had a breakthrough season at Michigan State wining the Hobey Baker award in 2001. He won the Vezina Trophy during the 2009-2010 season where he posted 41-18-8 record with a GAA of 2.22 and save % of .929. He also holds the record for the most wins by an American-born goalie with 390.

It will always be Miller Time in Buffalo. Fans will get to appreciate their goalie one more time as his #30 jersey gets raised to the rafters.
