Scary scene - Coyotes prospect hurt during development camp
The Arizona Coyotes were lucky enough to draft Conor Geekie with the 11th overall pick in last week's NHL Draft. Immediately following the draft the prospects immediately headed to Development Camp. Unfortunately for Geekie it appears he may have suffered a serious injury during a drill.
After trying to retrieve the puck, Geekie takes a hit into the end boards. On the play it appears as though Geekie gets twisted as the check is delivered. Geekie immediately fell to the ice and tried to crawl until the play was halted.
Geekie remained on the ice while the team cleared off so he could be tended to by medical personnel.
